Toyota: Soil Construction Contract

Removal of soil in the construction site will be finished until the end of year 2005. There will remain minor amounts of ditch, road and utilities work.

The extent of the construction site is 54 hectares. The heaping area of soil and turf is 27 hectares wide.

Sakhalin: Completed except the Final Clearance

The Sakhalin construction site work finished in August 2005 and the demobilization of the site got completed in November 2005. It will take until March 2006 to have the final clearance done.

BAT: Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony was held on 18th November 2005 at the BAT construction site with the presence of BAT Management and municipal authorities.

The entire building including additional and modification works has been handed over to the content client.

Toyota: Soil Construction Contract

The construction contract of Toyota Car Assembling Plant in 56 hectares’ lot contains of mass change for building and road areas. There is 0.5 million cubic meters turf and soil to be excavated.

The amount of filling work is of the same magnitude. There will be built 2 kilometers of crushed gravel covered roads. Drainage ditches will be excavated for about 3 kilometers and the length of the fences will be over 4 kilometers.

The work will be carried out as non-stop shift work; so the job will require plenty of supervision resources.

BAT: Finishing works are well under away

Important milestone date was met on September 2, 2005, when first part of Logistics Centre storage area was taken into the trial use. ICT server rooms were earlier handed over to Client.

Logistics Centre construction works are in schedule and in the connection building finishing works are progressing well. Parking and loading areas asphalting works will be completed by the end of this week.

MEP works are also progressing well and commissioning of MEP systems will start this week. The total number of workers on site peaked 240.

Bestseller and Seppälä to Moscow and St.Petersburg

Quattrogemini is the contractor for the new Bestseller and Seppälä stores in Moscow and St.Petersburg. The total value of the contracts is about 6 M€.

CESLA: Construction works has been compleated

The construction works at CESLA Cement Plant has been compleated. The factory testing started at the beginning of July. Quattrogemini was in charge of electrical works and provision of air-conditioning requirements.

June 16-17

PA-B Lift Off started 21.45 pm and stopped 17.7 at 00.15.

June 18
PA-B left the casting basing at 07.00 am and arrived the holding area at 08.30 am.

June 20
PA-B left the holding area at 04.00 am and it’s on its way to Sakhalin Island to the final destination.

August 2
PA-B arrived to it´s final destination and the installation of the platform started.

BAT: Client´s process installation commenced

Important milestone date was met on 20.6.2005, when first part of Logistics Centre was handed over to Client as scheduled.

Logistics Centre finishing works are well under away and the connection building has reached top roof as well. MEP works are also progressing well. The total number of workers on site peaked 200.

BAT: Roofing ceremony

The BAT Logistics Centre Project reached an important milestone on May 26th when the roofing ceremony took place. The construction team together with BAT Russia's and Quattrogemini's top management as well as key city officials enjoyed an entertainment program together with traditional Finnish roofing ceremony menu that was well received by the audience.

BAT Russia's General Manager was pleased with Quattrogemini's performance in general and to zero LTI (lost time incident) achievement in particular, that is a solid indication of Quattrogemini´s commitment to HSE. Quattrogemini´s employees Egor Zaikin, Rishat Nizamov, Valentin Nerodenko and Gennadiy Anohin received Certificates of Honour from QG CEO Lasse Alanne.

BAT: construction works

BAT construction works are progressing according to the schedule. The temporary heating is on at Area 1. Area 2 walls and roof works will be completed by the end of April. Mechanical and electrical works have also commenced.

Sakhalin: Casting base filled up by water

Another milestone was reached in Sakhalin II project, when the sea water was let to flow slowly into the dry dock starting Saturday evening April 16, 2005.

During the next six weeks LUN-A will be prepared for the 1000 nautical miles long sea voyage – mechanical installation will be completed and all caisson compartments will be subject to water tightness tests.

Same sequence of works will be repeated with PA-B, which is scheduled to depart Nakhodka harbour area one month after LUN-A in the beginning of August, 2005.

Removal of the bund-wall and dredging of the towing route out of the dry dock will star early Saturday morning on April 23, 2005.

Good progress of works at CESLA

Cooling tower structures are nearing completion at CESLA cement plant in St. Petersburg.

The installation of major equipment has started as scheduled.

BAT project frame works

BAT project frame works are moving ahead in accordance with the time schedule. Roof and external wall works are progressing well, thus area 1 will be completed by March 25th, enabling the temporary heating to be commenced. Quattrogemini and its mechanical and electrical subsidiary, Quattroservices are determined to complete both the building itself and the external works in Autumn 2005.

Bestseller opened two clothing stores

Quattrogemini completed the contract with Bestseller on schedule and the new clothing stores Jack & Jones and Only One opened 24th of February, 2005 near Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.

Sakhalin: Pouring of concrete completed in Nakhodka

Nearly 10 months of uninterrupted casting of concrete was completed yesterday, when the last shaft of the PA-B substructure reached its top height. Practically all of the 63.500 cubic meters of concrete are in place, and the next major task is the completion of the already ongoing installation of main mechanical out-fittings.

All the shafts will be surrounded around the water level by ice shields made of special steel plates fixed to the concrete by mechanical devices and by epoxy glue. The vertical post-tensioning of all the eight shafts will also be completed over the next two months.

Flooding the dry dock and dredging of the bund wall will take place in May, and the two substructures will be towed out to their respective offshore locations some 1000 nautical miles from Nakhodka one in June and the other one in July 2005.
